|Following the easing of COVID-19 lockdown we are pleased to announce that we are beginning to offer some limited face to face consultations from Monday 6th July 2020. Like all organisations we have prepared a COVID risk management policy to keep our clients and practitioners safe. This means that there will be changes to your visit to the Centre. Your therapist will discuss these with you further. We shall also continue to offer remote consultations for new and existing clients.
The Stockwell Centre, just off Colchester’s High Street, provides counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. Stockwell Centre counsellors and psychotherapists can help with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, stress and panic attacks; they can also help with difficulties arising from relationship breakdown, bereavement and loss and childhood events such as abuse or trauma.
|Therapists at the Stockwell Centre have varied backgrounds and training, but all share a psychodynamic approach, which explores present problems in the context of life history and past experiences.
If you are seeking counselling in Colchester, please feel free to make direct contact yourself.
The Stockwell Centre can also provide staff counselling services for local employers.
